Thought I bring you flowers for the rain in your heart, I couldn't stop to think of all the things we did, I couldn't cry no more, ain't no tears, anymore I couldn't understand why it all happened, So I thought I bring you flowers for the rain in your heart. But did you see 'em in the rain? Did you look at them, Like I do, standing there in the falling of a thousand drops of rain, Can't we make all whole again? I'm so in vain... Thought I bring you flowers for the tears I cry Thought that maybe if you seem em, Right there, see em die, That you would understand, That I still cry... Thought I bring you flowers for the hope of nevermore Thought all that and so much more, But I keep walking to you until my feeds are sour And a little more, But next I see that those flowers, They are there, but you are gone Like the rain, And still I get you flowers, But can't give em to you anymore... no more no more ---
