TEARS WE CRY

Water runs faster then blood Words are sharper then a knife And still we are just too tired To fight for what′s good What keeps us alive The tears we cry The words we never say The feelings we fight The time seems never right And still we convince ourselves again To play the game of a lonely heart Stand up and walk in the rain At least that′s a start The tears are still in our eyes The words hold no surprise The feelings are deep, The time is less then we need And still we try again To smile into hidden faces Searching for a lovely word At least one that does not hurt And then she holds you tight, To show you she′s just right The tears become a memory And you are both together and free
