COVERDESIGN von Badfinger

VEHEMENCE FINDS ARTIST FOR NEW ALBUM Vehemence have chosen to work with German artist "Badfinger" for their new release Helping The World To See. We'd like to thank all the artists that have shown interest and have submitted artwork. The new album artwork will be released when it is finalized. We now begin on the CD layout. Irgendwann vor zwei, drei Monaten fand ich auf dem Metalrecordslabel METALBLADE den Aufruf zum Coverdesign für Vehemence. Ich setzte mich mit der Band in Kontakt und schnell fand man gleiche Interesse, lernte einander kennen und ich begann mit der Arbeit. Seit dem arbeite mit den Jungs zusammen an einem Coverdesign, was für mich eine ganz neue Erfahrung ist. Zum einen macht es ungeheuren Spass, manchmal ist es aber harte Arbeit, aber für mich etwas Großes! UPDATE... Leider hat Metalblade nun dem Ganzen ein wenig Einhalt geboten. Hier zitiere ich einfach mal aus dem Forum zum Thema: "Badfingers artwork submitted was awsome, Metal Blade just didnt seem to think so after having it get reviewed with all the other staff members of Metal Blade Germany and USA. Some were for it an against it. The artwork submitted by Scott and Badfinger will be posted when everything is official and more of the layout artwork is complete. Sorry Badfinger, for the cover opportunity, Metal Blade just intervined on this one. We were already happy with that you had going, we fought for it but lost to the mentioning of Wes Benscoter which is interested in doing the album artwork." Noch besteht aber dennoch eine Chance, dass ich mit von der Partie bin. Zitat von der Official Website von Vehemence: "Vehemence have been appointed by Metal Blade Records to work with artist "Wes Benscoter" formally from Japan, current resident of Pennsylvania and artwork creator for bands such as Vader, Mortician, Slayer, and Sinister.
